For the first time, IIT Delhi and IIT Mumbai have broken into the Top 50 World University Ranking by subject in Engineering and Technology categories, securing 47th and 44th rank respectively.

Also for the first time, 5 Indian universities have made it to the Top 500  list with Delhi University making it to Top 250 ranking.
